Description
Through this training participants will gain an advanced understanding of the writing process with children in the early childhood monolingual, bilingual, and dual language classroom. We will investigate developmentally appropriate stages of motor development for young learners. Participants will discover how to encourage writing through modeled, shared, and independent experiences. Participants will explore strategies and materials that intentionally nurture, while extending writing throughout their daily routine. Participants will be asked to reflect on their current practice and collaborate with others. This session would be appropriate for participants and stakeholders that work with toddler to Pre-K aged students.
