Make & Take
The Make & Take event is a half-day, interactive pre-conference session presented by nationally known speakers on Thursday, July 11th, 2024. Participants will rotate through two different sessions and will receive a Frog Street supply kit with materials to design purposeful activities for immediate classroom use. An attendance certificate for four training credit hours will be issued to each registered attendee.

Session #1

Title: Crafts Around the World  

Speaker: Angela French, Associate Director of Product Education, Excelligence

Description: Join us as we travel around the world! Our journey entails visiting several different lands where unique and captivating objects await to be discovered! You will recreate each of these objects to take back to your classroom or center where they can aide in you engaging your students on your very own trip around the world!

Title: Math Land

Speaker: Lynne & Madison Rhodes

Description: Join Lynne and Madison Rhodes for a make and take full of math fun! Teachers will leave our Math Land session with a handful of ready-to-use math games and tools suitable for all ages. During this make and take, we will follow the Math Land game board to make math tools while discussing how they can be used in every classroom. Teachers will also leave this session with strategies to help students thrive during the math workshop.
