This session provides educators with the knowledge and understanding of the key components in a high-quality preschool classroom. Participants will examine characteristics of the learning environment that contribute to high-quality prekindergarten programs.The CLI Classroom Environment Checklist provides early childhood educators the opportunity to self-evaluate their learning environment(s) and take actionable steps to enhance their existing practices. Participants will examine and implement the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines as well as the Infant, Toddler, and Three Year Old Guidelines in their daily practices.
