Name
STORY PLAY: Building Language and Literacy with Rhythm, Rhyme, and Storytime
Date & Time
Friday, July 12, 2024, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Mary Jo Huff
Description

Light a fire in a child's imagination with a little snap, clap, wiggle, and giggle. Get children actively engaged using music, props, puppets, telling stories, reciting finger plays and being engaged. The shared ideas will guide children to develop an imagination, oral communication skills, auditory discrimination, listening and pre-reading skills, creativity and critical thinking. When a story comes to "THE END," it should be the beginning of an expanded conversation;a continuation of the storytelling experience. This workshop will be EDUCATIONAL BRAIN FOOD for everyone.
