Math from the Start: Where the Little Moments Become Mathematical Magic.
Mathematical thinking begins long before children can count or recognize numerals-and sometimes, it can feel like magic. A baby discovers that one more makes a group bigger. A toddler turns a puzzle piece until-presto!- it fits, by looking a little closer and you'll discover the math magic already unfolding through infant's and toddlers' play, exploration, and daily routines. Participants will leave with their own bag of math tricks: practical, low-prep, play-based experiences designed especially for infants and toddlers. These simple ideas can transform ordinary moments into meaningful mathematical discoveries, making early math playful, joyful, developmentally appropriate, and just a little magical from the very beginning.
Once Upon a Babble: Where Early Literacy Magic Begins
From first coos, babbles, and gestures to first words, books, songs, and stories, the journey to literacy begins in infancy. Discover playful, developmentally appropriate ways to nurture oral language, sound awareness, book and print awareness, early mark-making, and a love of stories through conversations, songs, rhymes, shared reading, and play. Because with infants and toddlers, literacy doesn’t begin with letters—it begins with connection. Discover how the smallest moments can spark BIG literacy magic from the very beginning!

Math in Motion: A Touch of Magic in Everyday Mathematics.
There is a touch of magic in the moment a child discovers a mathematical idea-recognizing a quantity without counting, finding another way to make five, discovering that a shape is still a triangle when is turned, predicting what comes next in a pattern, or trying a new strategy to solve a problem. Through play, exploration, and problem solving, children ages 3-5 are developing powerful mathematical ideas every day. Participants will leave with practical, low-prep activities that bring a touch of magic to everyday mathematics while strenthening numeracy, operations, geometry, spatial reasoning,, measurement, patterns, and heuristic problem-solving skills.
Happily Ever After Starts Here: Building Early Literacy Through Everyday Moments
