This session will highlight ways program leaders can plan for successful curriculum implementation through thoughtful planning and ongoing professional development. The session will share research proven strategies on preparing staff for implementation, establishing non-negotiables as well as assuring autonomy for staff, and the role of on-going professional development, collaboration, and coaching to ensure fidelity of the curriculum. Session will also include a case study from Pittsburgh Public Schools with time for discussion with session members.
