Lis Baker joined the Frog Street team 2 years ago after leading a group of educational consultants in Southeastern Ohio who support educational program leadership serving birth through age 21. Prior to her time as the director of the State Support Team, Lisa served as an education consultant and assistant director for 10 years at the Ohio Department of Education, Office of Early Learning and School Readiness.
Lisa has served numerous projects to advance early learning opportunities in Ohio as well as nationally. She led the writing of Ohio’s Birth through Kindergarten Early Learning Standards, Ohio and Maryland’s Early Learning Assessment and Kindergarten Readiness Assessment and served on Ohio’s Social and Emotional Standards Advisory Board.
Lisa lives in Southeastern Ohio with her Husband of over 30 years, Lance. She has two sons, Landon and Luc, and 1 granddaughter.
